Been for Sunday dinner today, absolutely beautiful. Everything cooked to perfection. full choice of meats & good range of veg in dish to serve yourself including mushy peas! Also generous pot of gravy. Definitely be back! Apologies was just a quick photo
First of all the staff were fantastic. The Italian guy that served our table was so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food was also good. I ordered the gammon steak that came with eggs, side salad and a choice of chips or veg. The steaks were a great size, really tasty and well cooked. My dinner guest had a chicken pasta with chilli tomato sauce topped with mozzarella. She cleared her plate and i was expecting to see her lick the plate, she resisted the urge in the end. The prices were very reasonable too. The staff were also equipped with full PPE and we had our temperature tested at the entrance. Everything was table service so we didn't need to mix with other customers at the premises keeping covid risk to a minimum. I will definitely return.
Had the steak 2 for 30 including a bottle of wine. Swapped the wine for tea no problems. Steak had no fat cooked to perfection. Staff were attentive. Attention to detail.. Good overall visit. Would visit again without hesitation
