Unassuming old fashioned pub with a great whisky and scotch collection. Staff are friendly, there’s free popcorn, and the menu is solid. Great addition to Eat Street. We tried the sweet potato fries, which were excellent, but the dips were disappointing. If they improve them I would eat those all the time
Had a chance to look around and will definitely be back. I did get to have a Reuben and I've tried the fish and chips. It's all been great food! Very cozy and original.
Ordered two pot pies and a chicken pesto flatbread for pickup. The crusts from this place are mind blowing. Clearly made in-house; their main chef had to have been a high end pastry chef in a previous life. Reasonable prices, especially for the quality of food you get.
Friendly staff, great atmosphere. Loved the fries, the fish was okay. Would definitely come back to give other items a try.
