Amazing food! We came here for my wife's birthday with the kids and have to say both service and food were top notch! The pub is beautiful. With the world the way it is the staff were brilliant and attentive. This was our first pub visit for months and we had a great time. I'd highly recommend the butchers block, there was more than enough for one hungry adult and the ice cream desert was delicious. Generous portions, friendly staff and great location.

A beautiful little surprise considering it's a road side establishment. A wonderful interior, fantastic food and exceptional service. It's only a 4 star rating because of the road noise outside otherwise 5.

Was not impressed with my lunch. Booked a table but when seated found the furniture and table really unstable. When we asked to move we got attitude off the waitress and were told if we sit outside we have to pay before getting the food! Like we couldn't be trusted not to bunk and run without paying... Which made us feel very unwelcome and untrustworthy, not a nice feeling! When ordering the burger I was told it only comes in medium rare, so regardless of what the customer wants that's how it is, and despite the nice presentation it was fairly plain. not bad but no real taste. Unfortunately my partner's chips were so heavily salted they were practically inedible! When we received the food, we ordered soft drinks to go with them. When the waitress came back she bought the card machine and no drinks. Not even the card machine AND the drinks but just the card machine! So not only did I have to start pulling out my wallet and start paying mid-meal, but I then had to wait longer for the drinks! This really ruined the whole experience for us. I suggest in future you trust your customers a little more and wait till the end of the meal before asking for payment, ask the costumers how they like their food cooked not tell them that's how it is (like McDonald's), and have polite and friendly waiting staff. Every other country pub seems to get this right. Would have been one star but the food was ok.
