With the Potting Shed just up the road I knew I was in good food territory. When I approached the Plough I felt a sense of happiness. The simple, clean, bright face of a traditional pub lay before me. As I entered I was seen to by the enthusiastic staff that saw me to my seat. I had a good look around and loved what I saw. Traditional agriculture meets modern elegance is the best way to describe it. Not too dissimilar from it’s neighbour, the Potting Shed. The Plough at Langley does everything really well. Their menu offers an exciting range of traditional dishes. Food is carefully prepared and served quickly. They have a great set menu offer, 3 courses for 21.
We had our first lockdown takeaway tonight. It was very generous and of an excellent standard. We can recommend the Cod and Chips and the Beefburger. We will return. Many thanks.
Just had an amazing lunch at this pub! Food was really good. Large helping for those who have good appetites. Service was great with friendly staff especially in these trying times. Well done to all. Will be back without a doubt!
Exceptionally good roast lunch, I'd go as far as to say best roast beef we've had anywhere. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, love the calming candles they have! Thoroughly recommend the sticky toffee pudding. Thank you!!
