A quite yet good Country pub the food is excellent staff are polite and friendly. The. Place is very clean and tidy and covid regs are followed to the letter. Can't wait to see the gardens in the good weather supposed to be small but great Beware of the roads the pot holes can be larger than expected. Highly recommended

Such a lovely old fashioned place, was given a warm welcome, service was really good, I had been taken out for my birthday launch, we had chosen to have a sharer fish plater, it was a good price and when it arrived I was shocked, there was plenty of food for two, the food was amazing, I have got to get back there again, I would seriously recommend this place, such a lovely place.

Nice garden area with play area for little ones. Reasonable pub food but quite disorganised for the #eatouttohelpout

I rang up days in advance to check there were vegan options and they checked with the chef (which was great) and they said there were several - curry, pies, burgers etc. I ordered the curry which was nothing special, but fine for pub curry standards. However two of my group ordered the vegan burgers and they bought out a plain linda McCartney burger with some chips a few tomatoes and a bit of salad leaves. They then told us the buns weren't vegan. Firstly we would've appreciated them telling us that before so we could've picked other things. Secondly I could've cooked that, but better, in my oven at home. Given the price it was definitely not worth it.

Food looked nice but three out of the four plates had an issue. Chicken kebab burnt, too many chips hunters chicken too much sauce, encroute salmon served on to small a plate and meal ingredients too squashed. Sorry. Expensive for what it was
