Visited with friends after previous trip with wife and son - and didn’t disappoint! Stunning food (truffle mac and cheese chateaubriand were insanely good) and so much fun. Beforehand was a bit anxious re Covid but the staff and setup were great: very professional and disciplined without infringing on atmosphere. Will return!
Perfect pub. Really friendly lovely service, great range of drinks (loved the gin selection!) and the food was exceptional. You can tell everyone there takes pride in what they do. The atmosphere felt relaxed but special at the same time. It was our favourite meal in our time in the Cotswolds and we can’t wait to come back.
From Folly farm, the plough Inn is a nice walk. The village and pub are of typical Cotswold construction and very pretty. Even during these strange times, there was a warm atmosphere both via the telephone booking and arrival. What awaits is a good variety of localy brewed beers and ciders, of which I can fully recommend the latter. The menu has the usual pub grub with a twist of a chef that cares. The food and service is 5 star and friendly. We can't wait to return
Excellent. Wonderful food, friendly service. The Dark Chocolate and Cointreau mousse was to die for! I loved the music too, lots of classic American Songbook. Oh and a great selection of Gins!
