This is a really lovely place to visit at any time of the day. We've eaten here at lunch and dinner and on both occasions were made to feel both at home yet somewhere special. The owner and chef is lovely and cooks genuinely delicious food, sold for incredibly good prices. The salmon fillet and creamed leeks this evening was the best I've ever had. The venue is unpretentious yet quietly beautiful. The staff are friendly, polite and efficient. We highly recommend and are looking forward to going more regularly as it's an absolute gem of a place.

We dropped in to eat with a friend at lunch and a very enjoyable experience it was on all levels too. Fab food and service. We've been meaning to call for ages and wished we had much sooner. Excellent food at excellent price. Very good menu choice. It was very busy when we left and Woolf recommend booking to guarantee a table. Would recommend and lovely village too.
Second time this time on a Sunday. Great food great service. Only little thing soup was a bit to thin but tasty. Can't wait to go back. Only problem it's going to get very popular by word of mouth so get a table while you can.
Great meal and service in quaint setting. Thumbs up!
