Take away meals to the same high standard as their restaurant. Strongly recommended. Tonight we bought fish and chips, peas, tartare sauce. Sticky toffee pudding, cream & walnut tart with prunes, cream. The Christmas decorations are up and the pub has a bright, welcoming, currently take-away welcome.

We went for Sunday lunch and really enjoyed it. The portions are large and the veggies and meat are all cooked well. There are good vegetarian options for the roast. Prices are reasonable and the staff are very welcoming. They were able to do children's portions of the roast for half price although they were almost the same size as the adult potion!
Really friendly service, natural conversation rather than professional schmooze. Very difficult for myself, my husband and my daughter to all find what we want in one place but we all enjoyed the food and atmosphere here. And the acid test - would we go back - absolutely yes.
Great food, friendly staff. countryside pub we visited on the way to Dover. Beer garden looked appealing for the warmer months!
Fantastic choice on menu, food outstanding, staff very good and give great service. Dog friendly also. If you are in the area this place is a must visit.
