The plough Inn is amazing. Recently the pub/Inn has been bought by a Canadian/American couple. The food is quantity and quality in an amazing package. I had the takeaway Christmas Dinner, long story short, never tasted anything better. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a lunch, dinner or just a light snack.

We were staying at Streton on Foss had Sunday lunch at the plough Inn fantastic meal
Lovely freshly prepared food in a cosy setting. From conversation in the pub, these guys are just starting up - they definitely deserve support. Service was slightly slow and it would have been nice to have a good quality lager (only Carlsberg on tap), but food was very good quality and very friendly service more than made up for any teething problems.
Excellent food and a very accommodating landlord. Reasonable prices, especially for the area
Dropped in at the end of a hike and the service we received was super friendly and accommodating to our needs. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Would absolutely recommend popping in if you are in area!
