Love this place. Unassuming, excellent service matching the excellent food. Well, worth the trip out to Bolnhurst.
My hubby and I made a much needed visit to The Plough for dinner. The Plough is our favourite restaurant, it never disappoints! Hats off to the whole team; while being strictly COVID compliant, we received our usual warm welcome. The food was delicious, the scallop starter was to die for, the pork belly mains melted in the mouth. I hugely appreciated the gluten free mini sourdough loaf great addition to the menu! Delicious desserts.....yes it really was a fantastic meal. A real treat during these difficult times. Thank you, we'll back very soon!
Went here for the first time for my wife's birthday and had a wonderful time. Food is superb and the ambience of The Plough adds to the experience . Service here is second to none and we are already looking forward to our return.
Great service; incredibly friendly staff. Good range of dishes on the menu including some well thought out & super tasty vegetarian options (they adapted a starter to be a veggie option too)! The atmosphere and pub is beautiful.
