A couple of years ago my sister brought 3 haddock and 2 cod’s and 2 large portions of chips well the portions were very small and there wasn’t enough for all of us as there was 7 people there was and the chips were hard as some of them were not cooked and the fish was cold and greasy it was and the fish tasted yuk it did so I would never go there never again as I have always told my family that place has gone down hill a lot and there is one chippy I like it is on Southgate street and there portions of chips fills 4 people it does so I will be going back there as there is enough there is and the fish is always nice and tasty it is as the fish just breaks it does so I give the plaice a big fat 0 I do and never going back there EVER

Food was nice but I bought large chips to share between 3 of us, based on other Fish and Chip shops I thought this would be more than enough for us. The chips fed the kids...none left for me! Portion sizes need to be addressed, very expensive considering it was only enough to feed 2 children and they are not big eaters.
Every time i've been, the food has been top notch, and cracking portion sizes.
Very good service and excellent fish
