Had a few really nice pub meals here. Friendly staff and it's set in a nice area of Bolsover. They is hand sanitizer and disposal menus as you walk in and the tables are nicely spaced apart. Recently I've had 5 star experiences every visit. In the past I would have marked it down because they reserved 70% of the tables for a bingo night that wasn't happening for 2 hours later but we still couldn't sit and eat there and then which at the time ruined a family get together :-/
Nice place to dine. After our visit in Bolsover castle we stopped for lunch in The Pillar of Rock. Great to see that all safety guidelines was met. Delicious food and super nice customer service!
A nice place to have a pint with mates. Or an night out with the better half. Impressed with the Covid-19 measures as well. Felt safe.
I've been to well better spoons. Worn out chairs very slow staff who don't care a specially the young girls who collect the plates and don't clean the tables. Never once asked if everything is OK normally u get asked.
