Photo Parlour made me feel good! It isn't something I can truly explain but I'll try. You walk into a space that is 100% open for photo printing business but I feels like a melting pot where family and friends meet. An entirely unassuming parlour that houses Black and white and colour film photography dark rooms, wide range of enlargers, a photo resource library, a little gallery space and a medium sized photo studio. Studio hire is available here (studio strobes included) but I forgot to enquire about the cost. Even the dark room is for hire. One can learn to print from negatives. Technical help is available too. Photo parlour is located in Nottingham City, quite close to Nottingham train station. I love this place!

This is an absolutely brilliant resource for anyone interested in film photography, regardless of experience. They run some great workshops, develop film, and have both a colour and black and white darkroom you can use. The attic location has excellent light, and there's also a little library with loads of photography books to look through. It's a very welcoming place - Dan always has time for you, and the volunteers are so helpful and knowledgeable when you need a hand making prints. (Also there's sometimes an adorable pup hanging around...)
Amazing place, wonderful staff and brilliant facilities. Spoke to Dan on the telephone about being a new photography graduate and that I needed to use his colour darkroom for a set of images I needed to re-print. He was able to let me print all day, help me out with paper as I had mistakenly bought the wrong paper and be wonderful company. I am now a full member and shall be returning shortly to carry on my film printing.
Love this place! Wicked staff. Even if you just want to pop in for a look you’re made very welcome. Dan (the owner) is lovely and is always available to lend a hand when needed. Excellent facilities which include a colour & b&w dark room to use or just pop in to get your film processed. Good pricing! Well worth a visit.
