The pub is really nice old pub with a log fire. a good bar and eating area. A choice of three real ales I had a beer branded Phoenix which was good and a bar meal of whitebait and bread which was great. The people behind the bar were welcoming, helpful and very personable. If we had the time we would have stayed there longer

Super friendly staff as well as efficient. Welcome dogs in the bar and child friendly. The pub grub was spot on. We had the rump steak and sausage and mash. Both yummy. Very clean toilets too. Pub itself was nice and cosy with the open fire going. Great experience.

This pub was very good. Their roasts were fantastic. I got the beef roast and my father got the chicken. They came with peas, gravy, potatoes, and some other vegetable. Both of us were satisfied and marveled at how tender the meat was. The atmosphere here is cozy and the decorations really added to the experience. The staff was very friendly and it wasn't too crowded. I would definitely give this place a visit if you are in town. The quality of the food definitely surprised me.
