Excellent Wye Valley pub just off Gloucester City centre. Excellent range of ales, regular ale festivals, lovely pickled eggs, friendly staff and friendly regulars. And a free charity jukebox. Highly recommended.

This is a proper old school pub. IMHO the best pub in Gloucester. Worthy of its GBG inclusion. As far as I know it sells beer (shock) and does not do food. The clue is in the name. Pub! So don't ask later if they have a Christmas menue. No they don't. They may have festive Walkers crisps.
Awesome selection of Wye Valley Ales (8) and they usually have a guest beer on as well. A good selection of ciders as well. Best pub to go to just before A Gloucester match. 6/3/2018 Here again with my dad who loves Butty Bach. I like the stouts lovely beer Wye.
Great pub, with nice open fire, and a good selection of ales to choose from.
