Lovely setting with great food served in generous portions. Friendly, efficient staff make this a wonderful destination restaurant especially if the sun is shining and you can take advantage of their fantastic outside seating area over looking the river. Have been here many times before and will continue to go back.

Place is clean, service was ok and food was ok. The problem is you feel the place needs refurbishment or to better look after. The table was full of cups and spills marks. Worn-out doors and water taps in toilet.

Had a lovely lunch here with a friend. Relaxed atmosphere, kind and helpful staff who were happy to make room for me to park up a pram next to our table as well as very tasty food. Would recommend and would return in the future.

Out for Sunday lunch with my daughter. Both had the Sunday a roast Dinner. Had to be returned as food slightly warm... But this was rectified straight away with replenished plated so couldn't fault the service. Food was lovely. Staff very efficient and friendly... Nice time out

Went here for lunch today. Glad we booked as it was full when we arrived, always a good sign. Staff were prompt and courteous. The venue itself was very nice, light and relaxed. The menu had a reasonable selection of dishes on offer. The brie parcels were excellent as a starter, the fish, mushy peas and chips were also nice/filling as a main & the sticky toffee pudding was excellent. Would definitely go back. Was slightly concerned having read the recent poor reviews, however it must have been an off day or overly fussy customers. Not overly expensive.
