Was worried that as a gluten free person I was going to be stuck with the standard Jacket Potato but not the case! Got a stack of gluten free pancakes, bacon and maple syrup. Thank you so much for catering to GF customers, it makes all the difference to our day! Service was quick, price reasonable and left happy and full!
A trip down memory lane with my mum as we use to have lunch here when I was just out of school. It hasn't changed much and is as good a value as it ever was. The pancakes were lovely and light with a generous portion of topping. Definitely will be back. The also serve regular food and the girls next to us had Mac and Cheese which looked great.
Recommend the Grand Slam breakfast. Two of bacon, sausage, egg and tattie scone with tomato, beans, mushrooms, haggis and black pudding. Oh, and four slices of toast.
Really friendly and helpful staff. We both had different dishes, and both found each delightful. I can’t recommend their plain scones enough!!
