Always for me the best place in town for the friendliest and most helpful staff. Great atmosphere and exquisite food served all day, from pub favourites, fabulous Specials menu and the best ever Sunday Roast Dinners. Highly recommend again and again! Thank you Palmer Arms

The Palmer Arms its a jewellery, not only a local pub. We found it in our biking trip in the area and we tried it. It was such a lovely lunch, nice staff, a beautiful interior garden which made our travel point so pleasant. I highly recommend the food, tasty, good looking and good prices. Just step by, you will have a beautiful English experience. Pictures can speak for themselves.
Visited Palmer arms after a long absence so pleased to find it seems to be doing well despite being further away from A4 than the Pineapple. Good outside area with sensible plastic grass and chunky wood play area and hen house! Good selection of dishes inc veggie, fresh side salad so worth the bit extra paid for location. Downside - didnt see a disabled loo and would have preferred waiters to wear face coverings.
The Palmer Arms is a nice pub on the outskirts of Eton. It’s got a warm homely feel as you enter with the bar located at the front and a nice light and open modern restaurant area at the back. The beer selection is pretty varied and menu offers you traditional pub food as well as a few more interesting dishes if you fancy something a bit different. As I was in the mood for good ol fashion pub grub I ordered the tuna melt and a side of chips. I was glad to see the chips were proper pieces of potato and not a few fries in a can. The tuna melt was also delicious, despite being covered in cheese, the tuna was still tasty and moist and the perfect topping to the large slice of bread it sat atop. The service was also friendly and overall we enjoyed a top lunch, so give it try if you’re ever in the area and fancy a proper pub lunch.
Before we went into the Christmas lockdown, we had a fabulous dinner here. All the staff were observing CoVID restrictions. It was slightly let down by a loud table getting quite drunk and smashing glasses but this really is out of the control of the staff.
