Amazing place for a proper breakfast! Must try their breakfast options (plenty to choose from) as they absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend!

Great breakfast place! Nice little hidden gem. A cosy and quirky setting with a fantastic menu and even better prices. The quality of the food is excellent and they are very generous with the portions, it surpassed expectations after we just stumbled upon this place just by chance. Staff are really friendly and is love to return if I ever visit Edinburg again. Start your day off in the painted rooster.

Went two days in a row for coffee and lunch with my husband. Staff are friendly, the coffees are HUGE and very nice and the breakfast and lunch options are very good. My husband had a big salmon bagel for just 6.95 whilst I had a large toasted pastrami sandwich for 8.95. Both were delicious. Nice relaxed atmosphere with hand sanitisers and plastic screens between the tables. Would happily recommend and go back :) Each table seats 2-3 people. Wouldn't say it's dog friendly as there's not that much space.

A good place for a breakfast, if a bit pricy. Service was good and has adapted well to Covid with panels between tables and faceshields. It's very cosy and clean. Best selling point that you have a wide selection of both sweet and savoury breakfast. The scottish breakfast was good, although I would have really appreciated if butter wasn't cold from the fridge (little personal obsession of mine). Missus was enjoying way more than me with a peanut butter milkshake and a very tasty apple pie with side of wiped cream.

A hidden place down a flight of stairs of simply delicious food, and homemade lemonade. Impeccable service from staff, a couple of seats outside to watch the world go by while enjoying their wears. A lovely place to stop and unwind for a moment :)
