Cannot fault the food, we went on a Sunday so of course had to have Sunday roasts with a side of cauliflower cheese. They do several different options for meats and you will be glad to know the roast potatoes are crispy. We were seated and severed very quickly and the food was just as fast. I would say definitely park on the road opposite the one to the pub. The parking in the village is tricky and in my opinion it's easier to do the 5 minute walk and earn dessert!

Community-owned pub steeped in local history, the building dating back to 1674. Food was delicious, menu diverse, with a modernized interpretation that differentiates it from just pub food. Staff helpful and friendly.

Despite all the safety measures which were in place, The Packhorse Team served up a delicious Christmas Sunday Lunch yesterday. A pint of draught ale as an aperitif went down very well, too. Thanks to James and the team - keep it up!

Outstanding local pub in a beautiful and historic building and we loved the plain and tasteful decor. Staff were friendly and attentive. But it was the food that really did it for me - absolutely delicious - properly inventive and interesting restaurant food without being silly prices. Yum.

A great historic pub which is community owned nestled in beautiful countryside in a lovely village setting. Excellent service choice of wine and food.
