This is second time I had been to Oystercatcher. First time was an accidental impromptu and casual lunch and I really enjoyed it. This time round we booked in advance and went for a more formal dinner. I was slightly disappointed by the food. - langoustines starter was cold and felt like it came straight out from the fridge (the meat was sweet though). If I had known the langoustines were served cold, i might not have ordered it - the bloody marry sorbet does not work with the oyster and overpower the delicate oysters. - the chilli and lime butter on the halibut is delicious and the fish is perfectly cooked. But the dish miss a sauce after all to bind everything together. It lacks something after you had the whole dish However, there is a good selection of beers on tap and the whole environment is lovely, especially watching the sun setting. I will still go back to try it again.

Fantastic food. Fantastic service. Beautiful scenery inside and out. Would highly recommend, but pay attention to opening hours as we nearly missed out! Thankfully they accommodated us.
Amazing pub/restaurant in one of the most stunning locations I've ever seen. The drive over the hill is superb and as you drive into the car park it will take your breath away. Worth ringing ahead to check they are open and serving, they finished taking orders at 8pm when we went. Great range of gins and whiskey. You can have a drink before you eat and enjoy the beach, but the inside is also really beautifully styled. The food is brilliant. Much better than it needs to be given the location. The mussels went down very well and the vegetable burger was excellent too. The puddings were stunning. If you're in the area do not miss out on this treat.
Brilliant place, specially on a sunny day! Plenty of outside seating with large benches. Space for children to run around and have fun. Walks along the beach for adults, albeit the very pebbley beach! Great food, nice beers, fab views! What's there not to like?!!
