Stopped into the Owl for lunch while visiting the area and wasn't disappointed. We booked a table in the garden seating which was a nice little spot. The staff were friendly and attentive, so can't fault the service. There's a great selection of tasty food, including the cheese scone with cream cheese and chutney, which was an interesting twist. Now normally I would mark down a tea room for not having plain scones, but seems this is a regional thing and everything was so good I'll let it slide. Keep up the good work.

We came for afternoon tea and it was amazing..the children are saving up to come back already as they didn't know what afternoon tea was before today! The staff were lovely, we sat in garden and it was spotless and we had far too much food. It's in our fridge labelled with what belongs to who! Thank you so much. You have always been my tea room of choice in Holt. The children know why I cycle all the way out there from Norwich now.

First day opening after lockdown and it really felt life was getting back to normal by enjoying lunch here. Tables spaced apart but still felt inclusive, waiters wearing face shields but still managed to make us feel welcome and appreciated. Food was plentiful and prepared nicely, can't complain at all about the quality but prices a little on the high side (2.50 for a can of coke for example). Not sure if this is to recoup losses over the pandemic but hopefully this is not the normal pricing. I would definitely revisit though.

Amazing gluten and dairy free options. Will definatley visit again soon! Social distancing was easy to follow and felt very safe dining in.
