Pleasantly surprised by this place; when I arrived only one other couple was in the place. I ordered rib ends which I thought were burnt ends by another name. Odd as they may be they were really good. The BBQ sauce had a nice deep flavor too. The fries were nice and hot, without the Cajun seasoning I suspect they'd be bland but they were good. The beans were unlike any I'd had before and were tasty with pieces of beef in them along with some bell pepper chunks, recommended item.

Food was fine. But I ordered a Jumbo Pork Shoulder combo priced at 8.79 and was charged 10.70. That equates to over 21% sales tax. MS sales tax is 7%. Horn Lake tax on restaurants and hotels is another 3%.. I'm. not sure if it is the owner taking a rake or the employee but someone certainly is. I won't be back. Someone is dishonest here.

Sometimes food (meat) can be a little cool bc they smoke it (i think at the other location) and keep it in a warmer but it always tastes good to my family and the owner periodically comes to this location and treats everyone like family, even gave me free dessert on my birthday! Local owned and special. Also they have a drive through window.
The owners are very nice and professional. Very friendly and they make you feel welcome soon as you open the door
