Fantastic traditional pub. Great selection of quality ales, beer, wine and spirits. Fantastic food. Fabulous staff. Lovely charming building and large garden. Small car park.

A fantastic family-friendly find - nice playground fenced in to the side of the beer garden, visible from inside and out, delicious food, friendly staff, and fine cask ales. Adults enjoyed good conversation while the kids tired themselves out playing.
Had post lockdown walk takeaway burgers and coffee from Rob's Bap Shack at the Orange Tree. Excellent.
Good takeaway coffee. Also, fantastic takeaway beers such as Plum Porter. Very user friendly establishment
Cosy, characterful place with fantastic food & a great variety of beers. The pub offers an array of handmade sausages as part of their menu. Myself & the husband ordered the sausages in yorkshire pudding (his choice of sausages were Cumberland & mine pork & honey). Both were very tasty & packed with meat (sorry to fellow vegetarians/vegans!) & very much savoured. & The dish in itself was plentiful, although a little short on vegetables other than mashed potato, although I like plenty of other vegetables! All in all, a great visit. Such a shame its not more local to us!
