Had a meal delivered for the 1st time and no lie it was absolutely outstanding couldn't believe how nice it really was for a delivery service...honestly felt like we were in a pub having proper hearty meals...deserve more than 5 * ...amazing ..Will 100% be using and ordering more ..thank you x

Nice pub right on the canal. Perfect spot to walk to or kayak as I did. The food was excellent and good value for money. Staff were friendly. Plenty of seating outside on a nice sunny day as well as inside if you're looking for something a bit more cosy.
Another amazing night meal at the open hearth. Clean friendly staff. Excellent value for money. Good hygiene and social distancing. Will definitely be back. Food amazing AGAIN
We travelled up from london to visit my sister and her children in pontypool. Googled places to eat and booked a table tor today. The sunday lunch was absolutely amazing and fresh and huge portions. The staff were amazing. We will definately be back on our next visit. Xx
Lovely spot right by the canal plenty of tables to choose from we had the Tuesday deal pie and a pint for 9.95 absolute bargain and tasted superb. Will be coming again
