For years, every time we’ve driven past here, I’ve commented that we must go in based upon friends’ recommendation. Well we finally did and were not disappointed. Good selection of antipasti and main tapas fare, all well priced, as were the drinks from a quite extensive drinks menu. Reasonably priced, nice ambience with Spanish decor and music and the staff were friendly and polite.

Great Tapas in a lovely establishment. This was my first time in the Olive Tree and I have to say it was very very nice. After a warm greeting and confirmation our dog could sit next to us in the selected areas, we ordered a selection of Tapas to make our way through. The wine selection is very good (they serve a beautiful Rioja) and the setting, decor and feel to the place is really good. The waitress was polite, smiling, engaging young lady who wasn't in your face asking questions every 2 minutes, but was there if needed. The food was very nice. We had 6 tapas bowls (3 for 10 offer) which were served quick and fresh (not too quickly thankfully). Presented very well and tasted divine. The restaurant is situated on frankwell island but has a gorgeous seating area out back for those warm sunny days too. I like the fact that it's geared up for conversations at tables (as it should be with tapas) and everyone buys in to it - with only a few people picking up there social anchors (aka smart phones). I will definitely be returning numerous times here.
