I had a delicious cream tea and was delighted to discover it was in the governments half price deal! So pleased I decided to stop en route to North Devon. A very short distance from J27.

Today I went along to The Well to find plants and flowers for my new garden planter that needed a lot of filling! The service was the best.. Nick was so helpful when I approached him.. I had no idea what would work together and didn’t even have a clue visually what I wanted.. he walked around showing me flowers and plants and what different themes I could create.. once he found out what I wanted from my garden he then laid out plants to show me visually what I could create!! Amazing! I bought the lot and 160 later I think he did his job extremely well! Thank you so much Nick.. I really hope that was your name as you deserve the recognition.. THANK YOU my planter looks stunning! The Hebe Lady Ann, Lavender and Feathered grass make a relaxing welcome to my garden. I wish I could post a picture!

Fantastic large garden nursery come garden centre. Very helpfully, happy staff. Good quality plants and an option of two tea rooms with both hot and cold food or larger meals in the original cafe. Nice outdoor seating areas. Very good gluten free options in the newer tea rooms with both bread rolls, soups, cake and slices all gluten free and even dairy free options! Well done!
