My family and I loved coming here every summer for delicious homemade food and lovely service but hadn’t been for over 5 years when we came today. We were thrilled to find it was just as wonderful as we remembered. Excellent food, lovely homemade cakes and friendly service, we will definitely be coming back next time we are visiting Cornwall.
This is a great place - we came twice both for lunch and tea. Delicious crab sandwiches and a fantastic cream tea (exceptional scones). Also wonderful, friendly service and very reassuring COVID precautions. Highly recommended.
What an absolute gem! Saw the reviews and had to come! Definitely the best scone around! Lovely proper Cornish Jam and such a delicate scone...we almost missed out on this as the specials sounded delightful! If we hadn't filled up on pasties, we definitely would have had something here! Friendly staff and such a charming premises. A very cozy and relaxed atmosphere, with easy listening music playing softly in the background. Other reviews say it is expensive; but, you do definitely get what you pay for! Don't miss this! Take the time out of your day and pop in!!!
Looked on Internet for best cream teas in Wadebridge and this place came up. What a find as all cakes and scones are homemade and delicious. The coffee is also very good to. Definitely worth a visit.
