Three very relaxing nights spent here. Lovely atmosphere friendly staff (thanks Diane) and really friendly locals. A great pub with excellent accommodation and a first class full English.

I went there just once. The food are delicious and the place is amazing. It's affordable, with 22 you can have the entrance and main, or main and desert, beverage is included, I really recommend this place. PS: the Peroni beer is a good choice. )
Amazing love for the staff and owners of here. After everything they've gone through, they keep a warm smile and welcome to their customers. My first time in Knaresborough which will be followed up with a return and stay next month.
i stayed here 12mth ago and was good so booked again for fri30th oct 2 rooms for 1 night as my son wanted to come tried to cancel 2 week ago on free cansalation before 48hrs due to hotel not been able to offer what ide booked not hotels fault fully down to corvid and lastly put in to tier 3 at our end it took all of the 2 weeks to eventuly cancel through old oak hotel kept saying it was expedia that was ignoring requests expedia said hotel never logged a cansalation in the end of about 2 dozen emails to expedia and hotel and 4 phone calls to hotel it run in to expiry time where i would have to pay eventualy by threatning to sue expedia for theft if money was taken they agreed to cancel without charge so my advise to anybody booking with old oak is to book direct with hotel that way youll know whoe s telling the truth that is what i will do when this pandemic is over
