We luckily had our wedding at the Old regent ballroom back in 2018, what a fantastic choice. Everything was perfect from the ceremony upstairs, the hot buffet & reception down stairs. From the moment we booked the staff were so helpful and managed my bridzilla moments brilliantly. My family used to come to this venue when it was a cinema and then a bingo hall, I spent many years here as a child but wow what a transformation, the decor is stunning and it just keeps getting better. Many of my guests commented on what a wonderful venue it is. All in all I can’t recommend this place enough for a wedding, I just wish I could do it all again x

Thurrock's Jewel in the Crown. This venue is amazing and run by two of the most dedicated people we know. The team behind them are always willing to ensure your event is the best it can be. Passion, dedication, two key elements missing at so many other local venues. This is a one off venue you must see to believe... A first class package you wont find anywhere else at an amazing price! unique in this day and age.
We held our twilight wedding in the upstairs Ballroom followed by the after party in the Piano Bar downstairs. Absolute perfect venue, my husband (then fiancée) booked the wedding as a surprise and I couldn’t have been happier! Venue perfect, staff perfect, food perfect and the party was amazing! Had so many comments from the guests about how it was the best wedding they’d been to and definitely believe we have The Old Regent Ballroom to thank for that!

Had an amazing birthday party here. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Food very tasty and plenty of gins to choose from. Perfect venue for any occasion. Thank you Old Regent!!
