The Old Priest House

What a fantastic place! In surreal pandemic times when so many businesses have just given up trying to offer any service to their local community, it’s fantastic to see such a “can do” and “thinking outside the box” positive attitude by the Old Priest House. There is an extensive “takeaway” service and the extensive menu includes all manner of breakfast items (high quality sausage, bacon, egg, oatcakes, teacakes, etc) cooked to order plus tea and coffees. Establishments like the Old Priest House are making an outstanding effort to serve their local community and they richly deserve support in return from that community. (During the current lockdown they are open on a “takeaway” basis Wednesday to Sunday inclusive until 3pm - but as restrictions change in the future it’s advisable to telephone them to check that they are indeed open at the time you are planning to visit). We have now become regulars during our walks around the area! Quality food at reasonable prices and great customer service with a smile. What’s not to like?

I was in need of lunch, having travelled to Audlem for work. I had an awesome sandwich, proper freshly made. Good service, nice coffee. I appreciated the warm welcome and the piece of tiffin for the drive home rounded it off nicely. Many thanks.

A favourite pit stop with cyclists. Our group make this our half way point on a Sunday cycle. Great filter coffee with a fantastic choice of cakes. Friendly Staff, who even bring the coffee out to us. Keep up the good work
