An absolute must visit for book lovers. The shop is much bigger than it looks from the outside, it almost feels like magic. I spent almost 2 hours here, and I definitely could have spent longer. Everyone was also very friendly, helpful and easy to talk to.

What a wonderful shop to browse in. Very characterful. Every possible nook, cranny and crevice is full of books of all kinds and all ages. Stock is sort-of-organised by category, albeit often without signs directing you, and with some odd juxtapositions. Organised chaos perhaps, and great fun. The sales area goes deep into the building like a cavern. It would easily be possible to spend hours browsing in this shop. One or two odd and very quiet customers also lurk in dark corners. Or did I imagine them?
An absolute treasure trove for book lovers. Filled with everything you can imagine and more. You could honestly spend a full day here browsing through what's available. Staff are absolutely lovely as well, and very helpful!
This shop is stacked floor to ceiling with second hand books of every kind. Make sure you have plenty of time to look round. The owner usually has a good idea if he has a specific book in ( don't know how he does it) and will point you in the right direction. A real warren of a place.
A real treasure trove of books of all genres. If you cant find what you're looking for, ask the man. He knows if he has a copy and where to find it. There is nowhere else like this place in the North West certainly, possibly this hemisphere.
