Visited the Old Ox on Thursday 29th October 2020. We had not booked but saw the sign so called in. The host was very welcoming and the place very clean and tidy but it was when the food arrived that things got interesting. I love liver but can’t be bothered to cook it so that was my choice and it was superb. So tasty I didn’t want it to end. The sticky toffee pudding was just as tasty. My friend had the lamb shank which was also very tasty and so tender it just fell off the bone and her Apple crumble was just as she liked it. We both left feeling full and very happy with our visit

Great food, cosy rooms and very friendly service. The sunday roast is my favourite.
My wife and I had a fantastic meal at the Old Ox Inn. Food was superbly cooked and the presentation was excellent. A really friendly atmosphere.
Stopped off for a drink and it was a good decision. Really enjoyed sitting in the garden.
