The place was ok, dated . Portions were very small. The salad with my sandwich had 2 slices of cucumber, one slice of a small tomatoes, a piece of lettuce and a bit of pepper. My partners savory cream tea had 1 slice of cheese and 2 grapes. Shame as the places has potential but 15 for the above with drinks was poor value

We came to the Old Mill during a COVID-induced staycation in Devon. As I expect most London exiles do, we ordered the cream tea. The scones were hefty and fresh. The tea was very nice. The clotted cream and jam were excellent. We even had that little \haw haw haw\ tourist moment when we tried to remember which order to put the name and cream on before deciding, perhaps controversially, that it didn't really matter. Excellent service. Nice place. Big water wheel. Seagulls like to steal food.

Fabulous cream tea here, scones are probably the best I've had, apart from my own, ( I used to bake for National trust). Going back today for more, following covid guidelines strictly, wiping down tables between customers, and very pleasant staff.Highly recommend.

Fantastic tearoom with an old waterwheel to the outside courtyard with table and chairs to relax whilst enjoying homemade food, cakes, coffees and teas. Worth a visit!!! Black swans across the way on the river to the sea. Very picturesque!!!
