The takeaway Sunday roast beef was absolutely delicious, beautifully cooked. Did not think anyone could match my wife's Sunday dinner but they did ! Plenty of fresh veg , potatoes just right and beef was melt in the mouth . Cheesecake desert ...wow lovely .

Lovely pub, great service and great food. The manager Andy greeted us, making us feel very welcome. The rest of the staff were all really friendly and very welcoming too. They have a good selection of food on the menu and drinks at the bar. The beer garden has been recently done up and renovated so it's a really nice space to relax in, along with getting some sunshine throughout the whole day (if the weather is good). There is plenty of space if you have children, along with a good play area with things for them to play on and they also welcome dogs in the garden too. We will definitely be visiting there again.
We recently moved to the area and have heard great things about the Crown. We ordered takeaway and it was great, arrived quickly and piping hot. We will look forward to going to the pub once it is open normally.
A nice little pub located just outside of Roade. Really good for a family meal out. The value of the food is really good for the prices paid here. Would definitely visit again!
