Had a quick pint whilst house hunting in near by chawleigh. Lovely place. Nice staff. Made my mind up. Bought one. Brace yourself old court house, I'm moving near by.

Really good well kept Real Ale, Great banter from the Landlord. A great little Pub....
We enjoyed a wonderful home cooked meal , with fresh ingredients. The waitress the landlords daughter was very polite friendly and couldn't do enough to help us . The landlord sam was a funny likeable man who made us very welcome , we grew up in Devon and the locals did not let us down , as we had told our children how friendly everyone from Devon are . We will be back as we all brought a pint on the post. A fantastic place that should be supported to get them through the pandemic , very covid safe as well .
Traditional pub and food. Served well. Specialising in some well made pies. All served with chips and peas of course. We did the eat out to help out thing. 4 people 2 rounds of drinks and 2 puds was 36.
We were made very welcome when we visited the Old Court House and shown upstairs to see the coat of arms on the bedroom wall. It is a lovely old pub which you can just have a drink and a chat would recommend a visit .
