Just had the best takeaway ever, the old court house always delivers beautiful food when sitting in or taking away like we have to at the moment. I am parky about carbs due to being a type 1 diabetic and the old court house were more than happy to give me extra salad/veg instead of chips & bread. The chicken kebab & halloumi fries were magnificent and my partner thoroughly enjoyed her pizza too. Always love the customer service, we’ll be back for certain.

My friends and I have congregated here a few times now and each time its just seems to get better. The menu is amazing, we have loved everything we have had. The 2 for 10 cocktails was a bonus last night. Its just what Consett needs. Well done all staff, especially the talented chef. we will return soon. 5 stars.
Just had a superb night. Very friendly attentive staff. Food was really enjoyable and nice selection of cocktails and beers. Will certainly be returning and cannot recommend enough.
We visited on a Tuesday evening so was pretty quiet. Building split into two; pub side is modern/trendy and the restaurant side is Mediterranean... which is also reflected in the menu. Food was delicious, nicely presented and very good value. Staff were friendly and attentive.
