Charming old-fashioned country/town pub. A sign in the window said it won a local CAMRA award a few years ago and I'm not surprised, as the ales we had were in top condition. Food was tasty and good value for money. Friendly, helpful service as well.

Nice centrally located bar in Church Stretton with a selection of real ales & friendly bar staff. Sheltered out of the rain and even our soaking wet springer spaniel was welcome (in the bar).
Lovely pub with great service and staff. Everything you'd expect of a semi rural public house in the middle of Shropshire. Great range of drinks and food too. Pop in if you are in the area and grab a pint. We sat in the window watching the other travellers walk past enjoying our drinks and surroundings. Perfect.
Really liked it here, guest ales on tap (and samples) and the landlord and landlady were top and chatted about the beers etc. Food was really good and I'm a heat addict so they were happy to customise my dish with extra chillies and hot sauce. Very friendly and welcoming and will definitely visit again.
