Only recently moved back to the area just before the latest lockdown so haven't had the chance to go in yet but will be doing once the rules allow. I've been told this pub is still as good as it was back in days i used to come in here years ago, which is no surprise as i always found it to be a proper pub with really friendly locals and bar staff. Looking forward to the lock down ending so i can start coming in here again

Exceptionally quality beer ...
Came in here with a friend a couple of months or so ago and Got turned away rudely by the woman on bar from this place for not having a mask despite literally everyone in the pub not wearing one. I think it was more the fact we were a young black couple and the only ethnicity in there in all honesty. Also the fact we are not a regular face in there. The looks we got from staff and customers alike was alarming.
A decent boozer great staff and the food was great also on my last visit
It's a good pub to go to .and the meals are good Dave with Barry &Chris
