A fantastic 16th Century coaching house where the inspiration for the Archers came from. Its pretty much one room but is steeped in history and atmosphere. Open fires, flagged floors, decent food and great beer. As strangers we had a warm welcome and the owners were really chatty and interested in where we came from. Did I mention the great beer

Nice 16th century pub. Friendly service. Limited range of real ales.
Ordered pizzas for pick-up. Had to wait a little while but the pizzas were really good, would recommend!
An oasis in a world of fewer good pubs. And their efforts in management of Covid restrictions excel. We'll be back as soon as we can.
