The Old Brewery

Sorry for the delay in this review as it was from a visit last year before Christmas. We visited The Old Brewery to attend the quiz night which is on every Thursday night. I love coming here on a weekly basis, staff always remember what you order and where you like to sit. Great customer service skills. I just wanted to say thank you to all the staff for a very enjoyable evening. Even more so in these strange times. The quiz last made everyone laugh through out the evening and really did make the quiz that extra but special was food was tasty and the cocktails a great touch. I will see you for the next one, whenever that will be. Will visit here again

Couldn’t get in The Chequers so came here with kids for pub grub. It’s got a Wetherspoons vibe but the food was okay and well priced. Kids loved their burger and sausage and mash. Def go again.

My local for a couple of years now, and it’s one of my favourite places to relax. Food is great, comfort pub grub with a touch of style. The staff as a majority are friendly and welcoming and, in general, outshine the other places on the High St. I can’t recommend this place enough! I cannot fault The Old Brewery efforts in getting back to business and hosting its guests. Great job guys, keep at it!

Me and my mum stopped by for a drink last year and ended up getting some sides to nibble on as well. Although we had a table reserved, the staff offered us a more comfortable table to eat at as one was available, recognising we would have booked a table to just drink and were now ordering some food. The food was lovely and a young lad called Tea was very smiley and helpful. Lovely place to stop by and would recommend going again!

It's alright. Good for a quick drink and more than fine if you're after beer / spirit (they have good gin selection) and mixer. Their cocktails aren't great at all, but that's just my preference. Good food if you want to grab something quick and easy
