It was a first time out for a Sunday meal this year, the place was so clean. The waitress couldn't do enough for you.. we was asked if you wanted chicken, beef, pork or lamb... before the meal got to our table she brought vegetables.. very small portions... pleased it was only me that needed the vegetables.. The only thing that I have got a little bit of grumble with is... The price of the meal is different to each meat.. wish they would tell you when you are about to order or put it on a blackboard so you know what you're paying for... YES i will go back again..

Great pub, great service & the Sunday roast is amazing!! 10.50 for a mix meat plate with all the trimmings & extra sides too! This is the best & biggest roast dinner I've ever had... Oh & the Bailey's & Hob-nob cheese cake was a dream in my mouth!!! Shame it's so far from London.
Found this little gem on the off chance and we are absolutely delighted that we did. The staff were extremely lovely and so friendly. The service was amazing, the food was cooked to order and this was evident, very impressive and extremely delicious. The portions sizes were huge and even our dog was catered for with lovely treats. Thank you to everyone who made us feel very welcome.
We booked a table with 20 minutes notice and the owners couldn’t have been more accommodating. Everyone was so friendly and really good with my nervous dog! The food was some of the best I’ve had. Would definitely return!
Extremely friendly staff and landlord and landlady food is always excellent with excellent choice of drinks.
