Nice place for breakfast and coffee, in a quiet alley. The space is comfortable and the service is friendly and quick. The dishes we tried were tasty and the coffee was good enough. We tried fried eggs on toast and the salad with cottage, tuna and fruits, and although the salad sounds like a weird combination it was very good and big portion!

Excellent well priced food. The chef Even made me a world class eggy bread on request (not on the menu). Highly recommended. 5 minutes walk from Lancaster Castle and Lancaster City Museum.
Lovely little café, amazing service!! They did my daughter's milkshake before we even ordered! Everyone was lovely & kind. They overheard my daughter saying she wanted a milkshake & got straight on to it. It's cash only & very tucked away, but it was perfect.
Went here for some breakfast... food was great and the cakes were amazing!! 5* to the generous portion of chocolate fudge cake! They keep all of the cakes in the fridge on display. It was quite busy in here when we went, nice atmosphere though. My only issue is that they only accept cash. I feel it is inconvenient and unsual for a cafe/restaurant not to accept - if anything it will only discourage people from walking in the door if they have no cash... especially when the food and staff are so nice.
Really cosy atmosphere, great food and drink selection, quality food, excellent service... What is there not to like? It also appeared to be run by young people, so it scores big points for me there as well - it was truly excellent. We were also served really quickly (within 10 minutes) which is impressive considering all but one table was occupied and we ordered hot meals. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.
