Finding anywhere to eat on a Sunday evening in Ludlow is challenging. Clearly businesses are doing so well they don't need the trade! Our first attempt (The Unicorn) was so awful we had to leave. But we finally found this place. The food is unpretentious, well prepared, and reasonably priced. The location is very pretty. But it was the staff that really made the difference! Thank you a lovely evening.

Just had a delicious meal at The Old Bakehouse, decided to tackle the Bakehouse Beast Burger. Every part of it was extremely tasty and I finished every bite. Just about had room for the Reese's Cheesecake. Overall value was also good. Served a few local beers and great selection of spirits (lots of gin again including local products). Highly recommend going here, it is tucked away down one of Ludlow's alley ways so keep an eye out.
Great service from all the staff. Food was amazing and prices for what you get are cheap. Would definitely recommend you visit here and enjoy a meal. Thank you we will be back.
Tier 2 Experience..disappointing I guess. The positives : the food, as always, was great , although would have liked the option of a sweet .. The negatives: Taken to our seats,as expected, normally offered drinks whilst browsing the menu, didn't happen, after taking our order were advised it was \ pay as you go\ so had to pay upfront, before a morsel touched our lips! Drinks came just prior to the arrival of our food. After we had finished our meal we would have liked to have another drink ..even a dessert, neither seemed to be an option, if anything table was cleared pretty quickly and we were left with little choice but to leave. A really really disappointing experience. I do not feel the criticism should lie with The Old Bakehouse fully, what I would suggest is that they offer an explanation about the \ pay & go\ system and what it actually means , we left slightly baffled by the experience and, I have to say, with a little disbelief. Such a shame.
Has classic Beef burger which was good. Fries were nice and hot. My wife had a cheese open toasted sandwich which was good however I wish the nachos had had a salsa dip or similar.
