Sensible covid precautions. This is a normal friendly pub with everything you'd expect. Missing anything interesting to drink though (although they do have proper measures if you're spirits) - if they had a tasty box of cider I'd be in here loads

This is an old-fashioned pun very much of yesteryear and I like it very much for that reason. Staff are friendly and those who frequent it often are very welcoming too. Cosy, gentle and quiet. A far cry from the noisy and boisterous town pubs.
Fabulous pub in St Bees village - sometimes has great live music on, and always has warm atmosphere. Margaret's Sunday lunches are the tops - but be sure to book in advance. It's a proper \local\, but welcoming to all. Lovely family friendly place to go!
