The party definitely continues after hours at The Oceanaire Seafood Room. Best place to sober up and enjoy a great meal with a bunch of friends after a night of L.A. partying. Can you believe they actually accommodated all 40 of us at 2 a.m.? Food was fast, cheap, and yummy. You think that with all that alcohol in your system, you won't remember your meal. I remembered alright; I was craving The Oceanaire Seafood Room for a whole week!
I went for my birthday the food was great and the service was amazing, definitely going back. The staff was on top of everything making sure me and my guest got everything right and made sure are dishes were good. The appetizers came out at a great time and the food came 10-15 mins after pretty great timing for our party size. Definitely worth 5 stars.
The food was ok, steak was not cooked to order and it took 20-30 minutes to come. But what got me was when the server brought my bill he had already added a 18% tip. For a party of 3. So I asked him when it became customary to automatically add gratuity for 3 people? He told me that was their policy sense the pandemic and I could talk to the manager. The manager proceeded to tell me the same thing. I told them they would not be taking my money and giving himself what he thought he deserved. I'm in the pandemic also. Besides that a tip is for the costumer to show their appreciation for the service and is not mandatory !!! With that said I left the tip as it was but I had to let them know it's not ok to take liberties with somebody's money!!!
Great tasting g food... My stomach was a little upset after this visit (this is why I didn't give the 5th star). I have been here before and had great experiences.
