First time in here. Absolutely loved it. Proper pub. Massive L shape bar, following all the rules of Covid. I had the skate wing wbich was awesome and my partner thoroughly enjoy her Cod and Chips too See you again through the week. Great pub! From Rob @ the Bell Inn.

Was recommended The Oakwood Inn, had not been there before and did not know what to expect. We needed a place with a pub garden as we had a small dog and children. We were a party of 7 who enjoyed our sirloin steaks, gammon steak and Brie and courgette crumble from the 'specials' board. Staff were working fast to take our order on what was a VERY hot evening. Would definitely recommend this place and would certainly go back again
Given its during the pandemic, thought the service and organisation was very good. Food was very enjoyable. Parking good. A nice cosy Christmas atmosphere on a Saturday night.
Been coming to this Pub for 15 years, has always been amazing, brilliant food every single visit, specials board is always really good. Lovely pub definitely worth a visit.
Good, well cooked food at a reasonable price and a fairly decent beer selection. Friendly, helpful bar staff.
