Lovely Sunday roast. I chose lamb, my wife chose beef. Nice selection of roasted vegetables; potatoes, parsnips, carrots, butternut squash, plus kale and a cauliflower cheese. Great accompaniment to my pint of Guinness. Second visit, when travelling. Perfect Pitstone. Makes a journey worthwhile. Thank-you to great staff at Norton Dog.

Solid place for lunch. I had the steak and ale pie.... Alas is was scorner of a pie and not a whole one,but at least it had a pastry top, bottom and sides.
This was a first visit and not realising that we should have booked we were lucky to be allocated a table. We sat in the bar as we were allowed to take in our little dog. This is a beautiful beamed building that has been maintained in its original style and provides an ideal setting for an enjoyable meal. We made our lunch choice from the set meal menu and thoroughly enjoyed the food we ordered. The service was very good, the staff were pleasant, helpful and provided everything we needed. We definitely will be returning to sample evening dinner in the near future.
Really love this friendly pub. Staff are a delight and the food is,always top notch and hot. Their pie is worth going just for that. Scotch Egg with a runny centre is fantastic.
Fantastic Sunday roast. They do a 3 roast forthose who want all. Here is the belly pork, beef and lamb. We returned Tuesday and had a two course . Here is the delicious plaice and lamb madras. Staff very friendly and helpful.
