Incredible venue, incredible team!! We honestly felt so lucky as a 2020 couple to have Oliver and his team support us throughout. From start to finish, our experience was first class & we cannot praise the Normans enough. Would truly recommend to any couple who is after a gorgeous venue, supportive team & outstanding service! There are a million nice things I could say about this beautiful place, so it's difficult to know where to start! We attended a very special family wedding here recently and the day ran so smoothly. We see a lot of different venues across Yorkshire through our business, but everything about The Normans stood out, so it's easy to see why it is award winning. The ceremony room itself has such a magical and whimsical feel, the outdoor space creates the perfect flow between the different rooms, the rustic surroundings are perfect for photos, and the wedding co-ordinator was absolutely fantastic and always on hand. A lovely venue.

Oliver and the team have been extremely flexible with us especially during COVID. I can't imagine how stressful it must be for a venue to have to deal with these circumstances but they went above and beyond to make our day as special as possible. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and a very romantic place to get married. I would highly recommend this venue as a wedding venue. We can't wait to return next year for further celebrations!

Stunning wedding venue \u003c20mins from the centre of York. The place had really kept to it's roots, apart f room the refurbished courtyard you have stables, a barn and a covered dining area and dancefloor

Absolutely beautiful venue, a real touch of class comes from here. The staff are attentive, chatty and great fun. They make sure you have a first class experience. The food cooked on site was fantastic, it was really good. Our wedding party had a barbecue option which had a little bit of pick n mix to give you a real sense of choice. The grounds and main hall are well maintained, converted barn and stables are a nice touch. Great, venue, great food, decent beer prices, all in all a great experience.
