Perfect English afternoon; cricket on the green, beautiful pub and great food

Food is generous, tasty and fresh. We had the Sunday roast which is a must in the area. The chicken and steak were superb. Nice staff too. Many people bring their dogs. Its warm, cozy and welcoming.
Outstanding heated marquee where we had good well-priced food. Almost all pubs have a marquee at the moment. Very few have one as good as this.
Could not have had a better time! The food was out of the world, so fresh and flavorful. The only reason I got fish and chips was for the experience even though I don’t like fish sticks, but this was amazing. My grandmother had such an amazing time, absolutely loved our waiter, George, and the local people. Would definitely come again!! Thank you guys so much!
This pub was amazing. The atmosphere was magical with their original decorations. I really liked their clouds on the ceiling. The food was really good as well. It is a little bit unusual and extra which I really liked. Perfect place for a special occasion as it is a little bit more expensive than usual pub food.
